How to use it
Enter hours, minutes and seconds, or choose a preset such as 5, 10 or 25 minutes. Start the countdown, pause when needed, and resume from the remaining time. Reset returns to your current duration. Add a minute when a task needs a little longer.
Try this example
For a five-minute task, enter 0 hours, 5 minutes and 0 seconds. After two minutes of running time, about three minutes remain. Pausing freezes the remaining duration; time spent paused does not count.
What to know
Only settings and sound preference are saved on this device. Reloading, closing this page or navigating to another tool ends the active session and clears laps. Keep the page open for timing. Fullscreen requires browser support; Escape exits it. No notification permission is requested.
Frequently asked questions
Does the timer work in another tab?
The displayed remaining time is calculated from elapsed timestamps rather than subtracting one on every update. When updates are delayed, the display catches up when the browser runs again. Sound can still be delayed in background tabs or during device sleep.
Keep this page open. Browser throttling, device sleep or muted audio can delay alerts. This is not a safety-critical alarm.
